STAR Bikes Project Leeds
The STAR Bike Project meets weekly in the Bike Hub with refugees and student volunteers to fix old and broken bikes. Refurbished bikes are usually given to refugees as a free and enjoyable form of transport. No experience with bikes is required, just a willingness to get a bit greasy and learn about bikes!

Details:
We meet regularly at the Velocampus hub on the Leeds University campus.
We repair old, unwanted bikes to get them in roadworthy condition, then we donate them to asylum seekers and refugees.
