One Billion Rising Leeds is here to:
- Celebrate the work by our local charities* to end Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG)
- Increase community awareness of the types of VAWG in Leeds
- Empower community members to become involved in ending VAWG
- Produce a collection of artistic work showing solidarity against VAWG in Leeds
- Raise funds for our local charities
- Increase community involvement with our local charities
