Leeds Oxfam Group has been in existence for over 10 years. For a small number of people, we have certainly achieved a great deal:
- Hosting talks on a range of subjects related to Oxfam’s work across the globe.
- Campaigning about Syria, climate change, food security, arms control, land grabs, Robin Hood tax and clean water. In any forum from local summer festivals to Briggate, schools and social clubs.
- Fundraising through sponsored walks, cafes and street collections.
What we need are more volunteers to help us make these events even better. We offer training in campaigning – so get on our newsletter newsletter and get in touch!
