The Free Vegan Cookout: Leeds

Join us for our latest Leeds Free Vegan Cookout guaranteed to be fun and full of different dishes!

These events are a great way to get involved with activism, and an even better way to try out vegan food! We welcome anyone who has an interest in vegan food already and especially people who have never tried it before. The Food is free for all!

Looking for food?

Are you interested in trying some vegan food? Maybe you’re new to the whole thing or are curious to see what kind of foods you can eat. We will have a variety of tasty hot, cold, savoury and sweet food to try all for free! Our volunteers are all very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. They would love to have a chat with you about veganism answering any questions you may have about veganism or vegan food!

Interested in helping out?

Want to volunteer to help spread the word of veganism? We’d love to have you come down to an event. We give out free vegan food to the public, along with information about veganism and its benefits. Come and help us spread the vegan message by bringing some food, something big, small or shop bought it doesn’t matter! Or even just to help out.

Don’t worry if you are nervous about getting involved you don’t have to speak to the public if you don’t want, we have a few different roles including food server, outreach person and photographer, so everyone has something to fit their talents. Our organisers are there to make you feel comfortable and welcomed, ensuring everyone has a good time. This is easy going activism! If this is your first time along to an event, just ask for the organiser who will get you acquainted with everyone and find you a role that suits you. This is best done if you arrive a little early.
