Stop Leeds Bradford Airport Expansion!
Fly Today, No Tomorrow
Leeds XR, together with GALBA (Group for Action on Leeds Bradford Airport) are taking a bike ride across the region to show everyone in West Yorkshire how far the noise pollution will travel if the expansion is approved.
They will be setting off from Millennium Square at 8.45am, and returning at 4.30pm. We’ll be making our own noise in Millennium Square to mark the end of the ride with a family-friendly event.
– Fancy dress competition for kids of all ages: “Wings for birds and bees, not planes”. Come dressed as any winged creature.
– Music
– Family games, come with wheels! Bikes, scooters etc for a mini ride with the kids
– Bring your own afternoon tea for a picnic
