DESCRIPTION:Join us to support our riders on the massive Ride the Noise cycle route!!\nOn: Saturday 29th August\nTime: 3-5pm\nWhere: Millennium Square \nStop Leeds Bradford Airport Expansion! \nFly Today\, No Tomorrow \nLeeds XR\, together with GALBA (Group for Action on Leeds Bradford Airport) are taking a bike ride across the region to show everyone in West Yorkshire how far the noise pollution will travel if the expansion is approved. \nThey will be setting off from Millennium Square at 8.45am\, and returning at 4.30pm. We’ll be making our own noise in Millennium Square to mark the end of the ride with a family-friendly event. \n– Fancy dress competition for kids of all ages: “Wings for birds and bees\, not planes”. Come dressed as any winged creature.\n– Music\n– Family games\, come with wheels! Bikes\, scooters etc for a mini ride with the kids\n– Bring your own afternoon tea for a picnic \nShare this event and invite all of your friends and family! The people of Leeds will show how we feel about this crime of ecocide against it’s citizens and the world. \n
