What is devolution, and what does it mean for the Labour movement? The Yorkshire region has significant economic, social, and cultural capital. The UK has seen different forms of devolution, such as the Scottish and Welsh Assemblies.

But what can a radical devolution mean for Yorkshire and can it facilitate socialist change? There is often a lack of grassroots debate about what devolution means. Leeds Central CLP have organised this to give people a chance to hear and discuss the current model of devolution being proposed, and how the Labour movement can influence the debate.

Speakers: Arianna Giovannini, lecturer in Local Politics at De Montfort University, Simon Jose, and leader of the Leeds City Council Labour Group Judith Blake.

Entry is free, but donations will be taken for the Labour Party and the RMT.
