Climate change is crap, but what is our vision for Leeds in the year 2030?
We know what we don’t want, but what DO we want?
Bring your friends to this event and figure out what you can do in addition to Youth Strikes to make Leeds and the UK take proper action on climate change.

Current workshops:
1. Hack the Script – Use our interactive light up models to build your ideal street or neighbourhood. Design public spaces, think about where we buy our stuff from, consider do we even need to work 5 days a week? Rewrite the rules and discover what practical steps we can take to make where we live better for people and the environment. Now take your new knowledge out into the world and make it happen!
2. Striking Interview Booth – Tell us your story, how did you find out about the strike, how does being part of it make you feel? Interviews will be audio recorded and used to inspire a creative performance about climate action in Leeds that will be shown around the country.
3. That’s it for now, we’re leaving lots of space because YOUNG PEOPLE are leading this movement and YOUNG PEOPLE are gonna make this day how you want.
This event is aimed at young people (13-30). Children under 13 may attend with a parent/guardian but please email cyclopspedalpower@gmail.com to book a place so that we can properly safeguard young people. If you are over 30 and wish to volunteer, run workshops or otherwise support, again please message us on FB or email us.
