A lot has changed since our last drop-in session:
– We spoke to the people of Chaco (Chapeltown Cohousing) and they are going to be selling 3 properties in the Chapeltown area (ideally before Nov 2020) and they are keen to sell them to cooperatives at a favourable rate !
– On top of that, we have spoken to Leeds Community Homes and there is a possibility to get £4,000 grant from Homes England to help with the initial stages of development for a community lead housing group !

This is an amazing opportunity and it would be a shame to pass this by. We want to be help groups to fast track their housing cooperative development – helping create their aims + vision, apply to funding, find members, work out finances and all the rest of it.
We invite you to come to Green Wood again, but this time we are focusing on forming 3 different housing groups. We have already had some interest in starting a queer cooperative, but the more the merrier.
