After a busy few months since our launch, we’ll be meeting at the end of July at Hyde Park Book Club to relax, socialize and celebrate our achievements so far. If you’ve been wanting to get involved, to meet other members of the union, or even come chat to us about issues you’re experiencing in your housing or community, this is the perfect opportunity.
We’ll be getting to know one another, chatting to people about what we do and all the different ways to get involved, and making sure everyone feels welcomed and empowered to participate in the activities of the union. If you feel a bit daunted by the prospect of taking action and want to meet a friendly face and learn more about us, or just want to link up with others fighting for change in your community in a more laid-back setting, do come along! We’ll spend a couple of hours at the Book Club then head off to another pub later in the evening.
