Restorative Pruning Workshop 9:30am – 1:00pm: Join us at one of Leeds’ oldest orchards within Hesketh Lane Recreation Ground. We’ll learn from expert Mark Simmonds how to prune older or neglected fruit trees, and then have chance to try our hand at pruning these veteran trees, helping keep this orchard healthy into the future.

No experience nessecary!

Wassail – 1:00pm – 2:00pm Following the training we’ll be hosting a Wassail! A Wassail is an Anglo Saxon festival to encourage a good fruit crop. Expect music, and hot cider! All welcome!

The wassail is an optional part of this event, feel free just to attend the pruning workshop. Additionally feel free to only attend the wassail, for this you do not need to register just turn up at 1pm!
