Alongside the Be Careful With That, Love exhibition we are opening up the fabrication room for an afternoon.
Perfect if you want to gain confidence with power tools or try out some tools before you commit, book your place to come have a go!
Try out different power tools and fight the stigma against womxn and power tools, in a safe and empowering learning environment.
This is not a workshop but a chance to explore power tools, we wont be making something just having a go a chopping, sawing, drilling and dismantling pallets. This is a informal session designed to discuss the themes of the exhibition, learn some new skills and just have a fun a creative time! Doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or just looking share your skills!
This workshop is open to all but designed more towards anyone who has felt stigma from the male gaze and themes surrounding the Exhibition.
