We are excited to be bringing you details of the 2020 Permaculture Design Course (PDC). Based at Hollybush Conservation Centre LS5 3BP, and other venues around Leeds. The days will be from 10am – 5pm.
The dates are:
18-19 January 2020
The course will be informal and relaxed with no exams at the end. We work to create a safe, supportive and collaborative space where we can share our hopes and fears, discuss vitally important issues and learn in an effective way.
We provide well prepared sessions based on good evidence and our own experience of using permaculture design in our homes, gardens and community projects. The course is lively, participatory and thought provoking. There are some big concepts to explore, and we have found that the mix of group work, individual reflection, videos, slide shows, practical active sessions and great food, usually does the trick!
During the course, you will be helped and encouraged to produce a permaculture design for your own project, as well as doing a larger design as part of a team.
The tutors have a wide range of permaculture experience and interests, and include Joe Atkinson, Andy Goldring, Luke Justice, Laura Smith and Helen White.
There is a sliding scale of costs for the PDC:
Low waged (under £17,000): £560
Waged (over £17,000): £800
Higher waged (over £35,000): £1050
We hope to see you there!
