We are Leeds parents who are meeting on the 2nd June to discuss our concerns about the wider reopening of schools. We support our schools and want our children to return. But only when it’s safe. The Prime Minister has made clear that he has no intention of listening to the science. His plans are not supported by the government’s own SAGE advice and does not meet its five tests. There is no evidence to support the assertion that it is safe. This parents meeting will be an opportunity to come together to share concerns, ask questions and plan actions. To support our teachers and one another in our decision to only return when it’s safe.
The meeting will be held on Zoom. Meeting details including speakers and technical details will be updated here very soon.
