For our #LeedsByExample Lunchtime Live conversations, we’re chatting with people from across Leeds who are leading by example in how they are responding to the Climate Emergency.
This conversation is part of a series of chats with people across Leeds who are leading by example as Leeds looks to respond to the Climate Emergency.
For today’s conversation we are joined by Shannon Jackson.
We’ll chat with Shannon about her day job at Solar for Schools – and we’ll explore the potential for more solar panels on schools, other public buildings and on our homes – and the impacts that could have.
And we’ll also talk with Shannon about what motivates her – and her role in the Youth Strike 4 Climate movement that has had such an impact locally and globally.
This conversation forms part of a piece of work Zero Waste Leeds are doing to promote the #LeedsByExample city centre on-the-go recycling project – and we’d like to thank Leeds City Council for their support for this project.
