For our #LeedsByExample Lunchtime Live conversations, we’re chatting with people from across Leeds who are leading by example in the way they go about their business.

Over the past few months, many of us have relied on deliveries for our food and other things we’ve needed during lockdown.

But there are environmental impacts to all of those deliveries.

How can we manage those impacts? Well one way is to move to zero carbon deliveries – with cargo bikes.

Join us as we chat with Sam Leather, founder of Dabble Delivery – a business that he set up just as we entered lockdown – delivering fruit, veg, cheese, beer, flowers and a whole lot more from local businesses to people across Chapel Allerton.

We’ll chat about what it’s been like to run a start-up during lockdown – and explore the potential for more of our deliveries to be made by bike.

This conversation is part of a series of chats with people across Leeds who are leading by example as Leeds looks to respond to the Climate Emergency.

It forms part of a piece of work Zero Waste Leeds are doing to promote the #LeedsByExample city centre on-the-go recycling project – and we’d like to thank Leeds City Council for their support for this project.
