A weekend of networking, farm visits, learning and entertainment for land workers in the North of England. Please email us if you hope to come so we can prepare/cater for the numbers – Veg@mvuf.org.uk

This is the first get together (hopefully of many!)… you do not need to be a member of the Land Workers Alliance (LWA) to attend. We are hoping to start a social network amongst land workers in the north of england that can enable solidarity, support and friendship. The organisers are members of the LWA and want to meet with others that care about Agroecology, sustainable forestry/fibre and food sovereignty. We are already scheming for a follow up event in Manchester this summer. We hope to meet you soon!

The Landworkers’ Alliance is a union of farmers, growers, foresters and land-based workers. Our mission is to improve the livelihoods of our members and create a better food and land-use system for everyone. (https://landworkersalliance.org.uk/our-vision/)
