Well, it was such a shame that the March event was postponed due to the barrage of snow, but we just wanted to make sure everyone was safe. Which makes it more exciting for the April event when we’ll be having another top line up for you, oh yes! On the bill we have:
Suéli Gil
Sueli Gil is a Portuguese singer who is fast getting a reputation for her unique fusion on Bossa nova, Brazilian Carnival and Angolan Semba. She’ll be joined by her band for the performance
The Meddlers
A lively and entertaining duo playing a mixture of some high tempo pop covers over the last 5 decades although there will be the odd original in there too
Emma Flowers Music
Acoustic singer/songwriter penning Country/Blues originals as well as songs that reflect a desire for a better, fairer society. She was great when she played for us at The Chemic recently
Euan Ridley
Guitarist and singer-songwriter – who will loop on request. An amazing sight indeed!
Doors open at 7pm and there’ll be real ale, snacks and an all round good vibe at this wonderful venue
£4 in on the door and we’ll again be raising money for mental health projects around Leeds.
We’re currently working at The Mount in Hyde Park with a group of people aged 65 and above, running some singing sessions and helping people with their memory and bringing some enjoyment in to their lives.
