Did you know that Leeds is one of only 4 places in the UK that can process Fracking Waste Water? Urgh!
Come say no to toxic chemicals, radioactive sludge, heavy metals and highly saline water getting dumped into our canals and rivers.
In the space of three hours we will choreograph a flash mob to act out a scene of natural harmony turning into a natural nightmare!
Featuring mermaids and dry-land synchro from the fantastic Yorkshire Life Aquatic, circus performers and a bit of breakdancing, this event is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Julia holds a PhD in Treating Highly Toxic Waste Water and has been resisting fracking in Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire. We will also be showing a documentary about Fracking called “Power Trip”, which has been funded by Lush.
