Dear All,
Please find attached the poster for our fundraising ceilidh on Valentine’s Day, 14th February.
(In case you don’t know what a ceilidh is, it’s a dance with a live band playing traditional Scottish and Irish music. We will have music from other countries too.)
Please come along and bring as many friends and family as you can. You don’t need to be able to do the dances (most of us can’t!), as there will be a caller who will explain each one. There will be free nibbles available, and a warm snack to buy if you want to.
It is huge fun, and a great way to help us raise money for Conversation Club.
Tickets can be bought by clicking on the ‘Eventbrite’ link on the poster (pale grey print). If you have never used this system before, it is very easy, and you can choose whether to print your own tickets or collect them on the door. You will need a credit / debit card.
There are reduced-price tickets for under 18’s and unemployed people, but we couldn’t do this through ‘Eventbrite’. So if you need concessionary tickets, please buy them at the full price, then let us know on the night and we will reimburse you £3 for each one.
Let us know if you have any problem buying tickets through ‘Eventbrite’, or if you would prefer a paper ticket – there are a few.
