74 years after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the world faces an increasing threat of nuclear conflict. In wars across the world today, as at those two Japanese cities, the vast majority of casualties are civilians. This is not the world we want.

After this year’s remembrance ceremony in Norfolk Gardens, we invite all those in Bradford striving for peace and justice to join us in a colourful parade through our city to Lister Park, where we’ll enjoy food and music together.

Sign the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons; end the war in Yemen; No to military intervention in Iran or Venezuela; end the sale of UK arms that fuel conflict; invest in Peace and Justice for all.

We need your contributions to the ‘4 minute Cabaret’ we need your song, poem, recital or sketch. Each performer will have the same 4-minute they’d get as warning of a nuclear attack. What will you do? Email matt(at)yorkshirecnd.org.uk to get on the programme.
