Leeds for Change was born when three organisations working for change in Leeds came together: Leeds Tidal, Taking Soundings and Together for Peace. They wanted to create a platform that inspires people to make change, encourages people to get together, and makes it as easy as possible to find out what is going on in their local community. Since then, Leeds for Change has evolved into a standalone organisation operated by 2 paid staff, dedicated volunteers and steering group members.
We want this project to be led by the community and are always looking for more steering group members and volunteers to get involved in the decision making and running of the site. If you have ideas or time to offer, please get in touch at info@leedsforchange.org.uk
