We are an alliance of artists, educators, students, youth groups, communities, human rights and faith organisations, filmmakers, musicians, historians, curators, trade unionists and politicians.
We aim to inspire people to become active in social justice movements through learning from human rights movements. Our first project is a multi-media travelling exhibition programme focused on the US civil rights movement, its links to the UK and how it transcends time, place and issue with an emphasis on stories of local people challenging injustice.
We are piloting it in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Sheffield next year and would love to bring it to Leeds. www.journeytojustice.org.uk
