International Women’s Day is getting close, and we’re calling on everyone who can get involved with planning, outreach or events on the day to join the next planning meeting this Sunday.
Jobs to be done include getting commitments from a few more speakers for the rally at noon, getting more a lot more groups and union branches involved, doing some hard leafleting and stalls, perhaps making more banners and signs, armbands etc; stewards, music etc for on the day; facilitation for the afternoon assembly, taking on media work (writing press releases, doing radio interviews if we can get them, calling up media outlets…..)
