Join me on the mat, every Friday for Vinyassa Yoga. All welcome, and please bring a mat if you have one.
I teach using a modified Ashtanga Primary Series, focusing on aspects of self care, the rejuvenation of the body through movement, and giving time to connect to the individual self. With attention sent to the quality of breath , pranayama is also an important element of my practice.
A typical class structure would take time to learn and develop breathing techniques, to then move through a physical, warming, Ashtanga based practice, leading us to a meditative relaxation towards the end of class.
I tend to emphasis alignment in my teaching, and offer hands on adjustment and both sensory and verbal feedback to my students.
The class runs from 6:30-7:30pm, and is £8/ £5 conessions.
You can also buy a 5 class pass for £36/ £22 students.
Please bring your own mat, and arrive at least 10 minutes before class.
There will be candles, insense, fairy lights, and a lavender oil head massage to finish.
