Join our TUC watch party for Organizing for Power: A Global Online Training Webinar with Jane McAlevey. Designed for groups of trade unionists to learn together and to build a campaign over hte duration of the course, this training requires full commitment to all four sessions.

This is a special initiative for Young Workers Month, run in collaboration with Leeds Beckett SU and ACORN Leeds

Taking place over four Tuesday evenings, 5.30-8pm on:

29th October – Rose Bowl Room RB308, Leeds Beckett University
12 November – Leeds Civic Hall
19 November – tbc

26 November – Leeds Civic Hall

Only real, deep organizing is going to ensure that our future world is based not around the corporate 1% but around the needs and desires of ordinary everyday people, across the world. There are two criteria for this course: you build a group of no less than five people and participate as a team, and, you commit to all four sessions, with a willingness to do light homework—designed around your own campaigns but testing methods in the course—in between each session.

This training is entirely free and open to young trade unionists. It will be aimed at developing young trade union activists across the region.

There will be a debrief discussion and planning session after each webinar, with the group session finishing no later than 8pm.
