A Fundraising event ran by creatives in Leeds raising money for Support Centre a Yorkshire based, non-profit charity who look after black minority ethnic communities who are affected or suffer from mental health.
The Art School will be running three workshops for the public to get involved with, in exchange for a suggested donation. This fundraiser has been created by Race zine in association with Wharf Chambers. MIDDEL FLOOR @ WHARF
This will be a night of art, music and trying new things out even if you are lacking in the creative department will be a great way to meet new people and raise money for a much-needed cause.

Donated Artwork from artists based around Leeds will also be up for grabs with our raffle competition which cost £1 to enter so bring a quid for that too.

Learn the beginners guide how to mix on professional equipment with the Leeds Based DJ Plugkeisha
Plugkeisha is a Leeds based female DJ, who has featured on KHAN and Leeds Social Radio as well as playing at events Slut Drop and Stretchy. Plugkeisha will be running a 2 hour DJ workshop for beginners, for those Interested in learning how to mix.

Learn how to make politically engaged posters and zines with OnBeat collective
ONBEAT collective recently published their first magazine in December which documented artwork, spoken word and a range of articles what focus purely on women of colour, minorities and no binary poc in Leeds. In addition, they create events for women of colour to meet and converse in safe and welcoming environments. They also run a radio show at LSR and have been featured on Leeds Social Radio talking about racial issues still happening in today’s society.
