* A social event inviting people to build new connections, have fun and create a lasting legacy for similar events to become commonplace at a time of division and disillusionment

* Solidarity with those affected by repression all over the World inspired by those recently arrested in Italy under terrorism charges:
Governments across the world are tightening the scope for social protests and limiting our freedom of expression

* We are only allowed to passively express our opinions and actions are limited to those in power. Activists and dissidents all over the world are accused of terrorism (ie. indiscriminate violence). The truth is they well know who the enemy is and have picked their fights carefully by separating the oppressed from the oppressors
