The Peterloo Massacre, almost 200 years ago was part of a wave of struggle against the poor conditions that capitalism even as it was developing provided for working class people and the lack of political rights representation that most ordinary people lacked to challenge this situation.
Come and join our discussion about the events of the massacre and what we can learn from it in the struggle to change society today, with guest speaker Hugh Caffrey, Socialist Party North West Regional Secretary and co-author of the new pamphlet on the Peterloo Massacre.
