ENCORE! is chuffed to be back at Heart after our sell-out concert last year.
We’ll bring you both familiar and new tunes, including some from my favourite contemporary chansonnière Juliette Noureddine.
Interwoven with stories and explanations about the artists and their work, these songs, sung in French, have all the power to transport and touch us to the core.
We are singer Maggi Stratford – “Fabulous to hear an English woman singing these masterpieces of French Chansons so perfectly!” and brilliant York musician Daniel Bowater on piano, accordion and guitar.
