All welcome to join Chapel Allerton Labour Party and Leeds North East Labour Women’s Forum for a screening of the 2010 film Made in Dagenham. We are showing the film as to celebrate passing 100 years of women’s suffrage in the UK. The film is open to all including Labour members and non-members.

If you are familiar with the film, this screening is a perfect opportunity to re-acquaint yourself with the film, celebrate women’s rights and join us for an enjoyable evening.

If you are not familiar with the film, the screening provides a chance to enjoy an entertaining film and learn about one of the most significant events for women’s rights in the UK in the last 100 years.

Comedy drama charting the fight of female factory workers at the Ford Dagenham plant for equal pay. In 1968, one determined factory worker leads her colleagues out on strike in the hope of eradicating unfair working conditions and sexual discrimination. (BBC)
