To mark the 75th anniversary of the Hiroshima & Nagasaki bombings, Leeds CND, Mayors for Peace, and Leeds Peacelink, will be hosting a commemoration event.
We will be assembling in Park Square, in a socially-distanced manner, where we will have speeches, poetry, and music, as well as the laying of a wreath and a two-minutes silence in commemoration of all the lives lost, then and thereafter.
All welcome. This event will adhere to any social distancing guidelines in place at the time.
