Tomorrow sees the start of the Great British Bee Count – WooHoo!!
Leeds FOE are going to play our part by holding a pollinator count/walk on Saturday 9th June.
We’re meeting at the Library pub (just by the Uni on Woodhouse Lane), walking down through Meanwood Valley, ending up at Meanwood park for a picnic.
This event is welcome to all – families, kids and pets. Bee ID stuff will be provided but by all means bring your own paper/pens/pencils/smart phone apps, as well as appropriate footwear and clothes for the weather. Do feel free to bring picnic stuff if you like and let’s hope for some sun!
We’ll round things off with a drink in the pub, maybe the Myrtle Tavern or some other local hostelry.
Hope to see you there!
