Join us for our February exchange!
Leeds Community Clothes Exchange is a community project encouraging the recycling and exchange of clothes and accessories in order to develop community spirit, reduce consumption, divert fabric from landfill and raise awareness of unethical consumer habits.
Bring up to 20 items of clothing, shoes and accessories (bags, scarves, hats, belts). All clothing should be in good, clean condition with no marks, holes or damage, clothes should be something you would be happy to pay money for at a charity shop. You can expect to find everything from vintage, designer, high street and basics to handmade delights.
Please note, we are not able to accept items after 3.30pm to give our volunteers time to process the items already checked in. We will only be able to accept a MAXIMUM of 20 items per person. We are not able to accept children’s clothing, jewellery, swimwear or nightwear. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Entry is £3 per person. We are not able to accept card or paypal payments so please bring cash with you.
We couldn’t run the Exchange without our volunteers and there are many benefits to being part of our team; we provide you with lunch and cake plus unlimited tea and coffee; and of course you still get to take part in the Exchange.
