2019 was amazing. We built an international movement of millions from nothing, and forced the climate crisis onto the political agenda where it belongs. Despite this, emissions are still rising, and it is more important than ever before that we demand climate justice. Emissions must be reduced to zero, improving people’s lives at the same time.

We are therefore organising a protest on Friday 14th February. Hundreds of school students and adults alike will be missing lessons or taking time out of their day to protest outside Leeds Town Hall. Young and old welcome!

Falling on Valentines day, a major theme for this protest will be showing compassion for those already being impacted by climate crisis, with fires in Australia and floods in Jakarta already causing devestation in 2020.

Our first ever strike was 1 year ago this month. Let’s make the first strike of 202o just as game changing!
