Come along and talk to us about about the University’s Climate Plan. We need feedback from staff and students because this Climate Plan belongs to us all.
The Climate Plan Roadshow will take place at the following locations:
Worsley Airport Lounge: 9th December
Electrical Engineering foyer: 10th December
Parkinson Court: 11th December
The roadshow will be open from 9-5 each day.
What is the Climate Plan?
In September, the University of Leeds confirmed its role as an international leader in climate research and innovation by releasing 7 bold principles to address the climate crisis. This includes divestment from fossil fuels, a commitment to a 2030 net-zero carbon footprint target, and a drive to achieve no direct carbon emissions by 2050.
The Climate Plan is being created to set out bold commitments and actions that will deliver our response to the climate crisis.
