As many of you are aware, everything literally sucks. The system is brutal and racist, our government is anti-science and we battle the dual issues of a crappy murderous virus and a literal ecological apocalypse. You get the drift…
BUT, when things are bleak, ’tis surely the time for action!
XR Leeds needs schemes to fight this stuff with and we want to put all our heads together. So we’re running these People’s Assemblies, once a month, so the actions working group can hear all of your big ideas!
Anyone who is then up for putting these bright and brilliant ideas into action plans can then take them forward. So if you’re not feeling particularly creative, but would just like to help with the logistics of someone else’s idea, please do come along too.
WE NEED EVERYONE.
Maybe next time you’re seeing a load of activists causing ruckus on the news, it could be because of an idea you came up with…
