With 1000 people expected to come through the Summat New doors and 26 carefully timed workshops, you can see that we’ll need a bit of help! We’re looking for a bunch of volunteers to help out on the day, so have a read about the different roles and how to apply.
Registration volunteer
This role involves signing in participants at the welcome desk, giving directions and answering questions throughout the day.
There will be at least one other person on the welcome desk with you, and you’ll be given a shift of two to three hours.
Workshop monitor
This role involves looking after a workshop space, and assisting workshop leaders. You will keep time for the workshops to help the day run smoothly, get anything the workshop leaders may need, and help people find the workshops.
You will be assigned a space for the day, and can choose how many hours you can cover throughout the event.

You will need to be available for a briefing on Monday 27th October, at 6.30pm, at Leeds University Union, if you are doing either of these roles.
