DESCRIPTION:Calling all families\, eco-warriors & documentary lovers: what would the future look like if we simply embraced the best that exists today? \nJoin members of XR Leeds on Sun the 19th of Jan at the screening of 2040 at the Everyman cinema in Leeds. Please note we have not put on this screening\, and are not profiting from it in any way\, we have simply been asked to spread awareness of this screening. \nThis is THE YEAR of climate action\, and this film provides the positive solutions that we can implement today. #JoinTheRegeneration. \n2040 is an Australian documentary that takes a solutions-based approach to how we can\, using the technology we already have\, mitigate the enormous global issues we currently face. The main themes/solutions looked at in the film are around: empowerment of women and girls; marine regeneration; regenerative agriculture; renewable energy; and circular economy.
