DESCRIPTION:The West Yorkshire Pension Fund is heavily invested in fossil fuel companies. It has around £1bn invested\, and 3 of its top 5 investments are in oil companies. The WYPF must divest and publicly break their ties\, for all our sakes. \nFossil fuel companies are driving us towards climate breakdown. They use their money\, power and influence to block every serious attempt to prevent a climate catastrophe. And our money helps them to do this. \nLet’s tell WYPF that we want them to divest from fossil fuels.This protest is supported by Leeds TUC. Bring you Labour banners\, placards\, anything that will make a scene. \n
