SUMMARY:What a Difference a Letter Makes
DESCRIPTION:Older people and students share their stories in a new play inspired by real life stories.\n\nThe play is based on real letters donated by pen pals of the Writing Back Project at University of Leeds.  Writing Back connects students and older Yorkshire residents\, who become penpals\, write to one another for several months and then meet their penpal in person at an event organised by Writing Back.\n\n  \nBoth Writing Back and Generation Squad are projects aiming to break down barriers between older and young people and provide platforms for those involved to share their stories and form new friendships.\n  \nThe performance is held at Headingley Arts and Enterprise Centre on 3rd and 4th May. Tickets for the performance are available through Fall into Place’s website. It is a relaxed performance and all are very welcome to attend.  For more information please email: info@falintoplace.co.uk or visit the website: www.fallintoplace.co.uk. Those without access to the internet can call the Writing Back office on 0113 343 6189 to reserve a ticket.\n  \n\nFall into Place is a Leeds based community theatre company limited by guarantee. It began in 2014 with the aim to make drama open\, inclusive and accessible for all\, with the added benefits of increased wellbeing\, confidence and community cohesion.  Generation Squad is a weekly intergenerational drama group run by Fall into Place\, making drama accessible for all ages and abilities.\nwebsite: fallintoplace.co.uk   twitter: Fall_into_Place Contact: Sarah Goodyear sarah@fallintoplace.co.uk\n  \nWriting Back is a letter-writing scheme that connects students at the University of Leeds with older Yorkshire residents as penpals and aims to reduce social isolation.
