The film is about what happens to people who are ill or have a disability within our social security system. Based on anonymised real cases, the Wakefield Red Shed Players powerfully explore the brutal reality of applying for and appealing against decisions on Personal Independence Payment and Employment and Support Allowance. The film lasts an hour and is followed by a panel discussion and a Q & A session. The film also marks International Day of People with Disabilities.
