SUMMARY:Trans Pride Leeds - Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Trans Pride Leeds (TPL) will be holding an AGM on Monday 2nd September 2019\, 6:30pm – 9pm at Yorkshire Mesmac in Leeds. This AGM will be primarily to elect members of the committee going forwards for organising Trans Pride Leeds 2020. \nThe committee will consist of 7 roles\, listed on our website – link below – which will all need to be filled in order for TPL2020 to proceed. If these roles are NOT filled then TPL 2020 will NOT be able to happen. \nAGM info on TPL website: https://www.transprideleeds.org/2019/06/16/annual-general-meeting/ \nIf you are interested in joining the committee then please send an expression of interest stating: \n– Your Name\n– Your Pronouns\n– What role you are interested in and why\n– What experience you have with this role\n– Any access needs you might have\n– Any conflict of interest or accountability processes you are undertaking \nPlease send your expression of interest to transprideleeds@gmail.com by midnight on 26th August 2019. \nIf you do not wish to stand for a role then please do still come along to the meeting to cast your votes\, be heard\, and be a part of this process. \nIf you have any questions then do get in touch with us here or via email – transprideleeds@gmail.com \n== ACCESSIBILITY == \nThe AGM is being held at Yorkshire MESMAC in Leeds\, (a centre for sexual health testing). It’s located on Blayds Yard\, just along Swinegate from the Cosmopolitan Hotel.\nThe building has a few steps at the entrance and a ramp can be provided for access.\nWe will be in the Main meeting room. This room is upstairs and can be accessed by a lift or stairs.\nThe room is long and rectangular with large windows along the end. \nToilets in the venue are gender neutral and an accessible loo is available. \nWhen arriving at MESMAC there will either be someone at the door to let you in\, or a panel of buzzers next to the door. Ring for main meeting room and someone will buzz you in\, then come down to the waiting room to let you in. \nIf you have any other access needs that you think we should be aware of or need more access info then don’t hesitate to get in touch. \n
