SUMMARY:Three Films for David Oluwale
DESCRIPTION:We will show three short films for David Oluwale\, followed by a Q&A with the directors.  \nWandering Abroad (director Corinne Silva\, 10 mins). This film uses the River Aire as the setting for interviews with Arthur France MBE (who organised the 1971 protests at David’s killing)\, Abiye Hector-Goma (Nigeria Community Leeds) and David’s friend Gabriel Adams. Commissioned by Leeds City Art Gallery. \nWe Are All Migrants (director Rowenna Baldwin\, 25 mins)\, which tells David’s story and includes King David Oluwale and his Migrant Masqueraders at Leeds carnival in 2017.
