Let’s show them right from the start that we won’t accept the massive increase in emissions\, noise and air pollution that will result from expanding Leeds Bradford Airport. \nLeeds city council has declared a climate emergency\, but are still considering this expansion… this would be a CRIMINAL act of ECOCIDE. We must remind them of this! \n?? The proposed increase in flights would exceed Leeds’ ENTIRE carbon budget by 2035… even if all other sources of carbon emissions had already been shut down! ?? \n
