DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to join us to meet Sami Awad\, the executive director of Holy Land Trust\, to learn more about making peace in the Middle East and what he sees to be the best way to go. \nTheir inspirational approach is built upon promoting non-violent strategies and bringing together emerging young Palestinian leaders. \nSami is a descendant of a Palestinian refugee family and grew up in Bethlehem under the Israeli military occupation. He will be talking about his life and work\, before taking questions from the audience. \nAnyone is welcome\, as long as they remain respectful! Coming in or leaving at 3 is also fine! \n(the exact venue is Room 6 of LUU\, on the top floor- I’ll post directions on the day) \n
