DESCRIPTION:Ground Up Coffee + Company are extremely happy to announce the first of many\, MHFA\, Mental Health First Aid Champion course dates for 2020 in partnership with We Are Inclusive Minds Leeds. \nhttps://weareinclusiveminds.com/ \nGround Up Coffee + Company CIC is a not for profit cafe based in Leeds Corn Exchange. Our aim is to support positive mental health in the city. By hosting and collaborating on events that educate\, inform\, and promote the simple idea that conversations (over coffee) about mental health\, can help change lives for the better. We want to break down the stigmas that surround mental illness and help save people from taking their own lives\, especially men. \nThese courses will give you the tools and awareness to look out for yourself\, your friends\, families and colleagues\, and your customers.\nAll courses will be delivered at Leeds Corn Exchange but please enquire about bespoke courses or to deliver these courses in your own venues for your own teams. \nMHFA CHAMPION\nThis full day course covers:\nAn understanding of mental health issues\nKnowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness\nAble to spot signs of mental ill health\nSkills to support positive wellbeing \nLearning takes place through a mixture of presentations\, group discussions and workshop activities.
