SUMMARY:Marxist Crash Course (by Leeds Marxist Society)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 4 week crash course on Marxism starting on the 25th June! \nWith the coronavirus pandemic affecting millions of lives and triggering a new economic crisis on a scale far larger than the Great Depression\, the stage is set for an increase in the class struggle and revolutionary events. \nAs we’ve already seen with the international Black Lives Matter movement\, people are starting to question the system around them and discuss the best way to fight for a better world. This course will look at the Marxist approach to some of these key questions and how Marxism can help us understand and point the way forward for humanity. \nThis course is for everyone\, whether just curious about the ideas or already familiar with Marxism\, it will provide the opportunity to learn about and discuss with others the following topics. You can come for one week or to all four.
