DESCRIPTION:Join Yorkshire Health Campaigns Together to defend our NHS! \n\nThere are over 100\,000 posts vacant including more than 40\,000 nurses. Beds are full – way beyond safe limits. GPs are leving faster than they can be replaced: this is leading to surgeries closing or being amalgamated. Massive funding cuts are leading to the closure of wards\, A&E departments and hospitals. Waiting times for cancer patients are the worst on record. Private firms are taking an increasing cut of NHS funds.\n\nThe NHS is being broken up into 44 unaccountable integrated care systems – with no public mandate! \nThese business units will have fixed budgets and incentives to ration treatment. Private consultancy firms are already heavily involved in their design\, set up and support. \nPromised cash from the government will barely keep the lights on after 8 years of gross underfunding. \nAny talk of better community care rings hollow after savage cuts to public health\, social care\, district nurses\, health visitors etc. The burden will fall on family\, friends and volunteers. \nWe have some cards available to advertise the march.
