SUMMARY:LPN January Social - Housing
DESCRIPTION:To herald the start of the new year we’re going to be looking at alternative housing models! We’re lucky in Leeds to have a wealth of knowledge and experience around housing co-ops\, co-housing\, and MHOS models\, and we’ll learning about different options for creating alternative and autonomous housing. \nTo ensure we capture the moment the social will be taking place at LILAC Co-housing project in Bramley\, Leeds\, where we’ll have a chance to see a co-housing project first hand and hear from some of its current members. \nWe’ll be hearing from a mix of people throughout the evening\, from those experienced in housing and others at the starting stage of their project. Any and all questions on all things housing will be welcome! \nPLEASE note that the social is taking place on the SECOND Wednesday of the month and is not at our usual venue. Anyone seeking a lift can post either on this event page or on the talk@ list to co-ordinate with other people. \nThe social starts at 6.30pm and will run until 9pm with a tour of the site during this\, there’ll be bread and soup available. \n
